General Information Selva Verde Lodge is a haven for nature enthusiasts, hikers, birders and general travelers. Committed to conservation and preservation, Selva Verde carries and supports the Sustainable Certification for Tourism. They invite one to come and experience the rainforest in their Lodge and Rainforest Preserve.
Location Located in the lush lowlands of  northeastern Costa Rica on a large, private tract of virgin tropical rainforest and rich second-growth habitats. It is adjacent to Braulio Carrillo National Park and the Organization for Tropical Studies' field station, La Selva. Approximately 2.5 hours driving time from San Jose. See the location map

Rooms The Riverside Lodge located near the Sarapiquí River where the rooms rise above the rainforest floor on elevated platforms affording one a unique view of the surrounding flora and fauna. Rooms accommodate one to four guests in twin beds. Rooms feature spacious wooden verandahs with hammocks, elevated views, screened windows with privacy shutters, private bathrooms with hot/cold water, hair dryers, safety boxes, ceiling fans & phones.
